My creative spirit has taken many forms throughout my life, from early childhood drawings and clay art to award-winning paintings, drawings, and calligraphy as an adult. Ideas can pop into my head at any time influenced by experiences and my surroundings. Since 1980, my artwork has been represented in numerous art shows, exhibits, gift shops, and galleries in the Chicago area, as well as Sanibel Island and Fort Myers, Florida. I have been fortunate to have my work purchased for both private and public collections across the country. It gives me great satisfaction to make a personal statement with a hand-crafted product in a high-tech world.
My themes usually involve a tropical element in subject, color, or design. All artwork is original and always one of a kind. As such, pieces seen on these pages may not currently be available. I may try to reproduce an earlier piece, but it will never be exactly the same. Because of that, your purchase will never be duplicated.
I love to inspire you but please note that all photos are copyrighted and may not be used for publication or produced artwork without my consent. I appreciate your respect and honesty as you appreciate my creativity.
Originally from the Chicago suburbs and former residents of Naperville, IL, my husband, Jim, and I moved to Sanibel, FL in 2003 to enjoy tropical living. We have a combined family of three married children and seven grandchildren, all “up north.”
Thank you so much for visiting my site. I hope it makes you smile!
